The Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve has developed an educational program for eco tour providers to learn important information about the estuary and marine life. The program also focuses on the ethical use of the aquatic preserve area. Pelican Media worked closely with aquatic preserve staff to develop a Eco Tour Provider Environmental Education video to help reinforce the valuable information provided in the program. The 20-minute video will be provided to eco tour providers, outfitters and fishing guides to make sure the estuarine habitats are not harmed by their activities. A series of 6 public service announcements were designed to give residents and visitors of Southwest Florida proper methods for viewing endangered marine mammals, sensitive rookery islands and seagrass beds whether fishing or just enjoying a boat outing.
